Entering Autos: 516 Beat: 07-20-2008 2228 hours to 2242 hours, 2051 Lost Mountain Road , (Oxford Academy Preschool); A white male was captured on video siphoning gas from the school buses at the school. The suspect damaged the bus by attempting to pry the seal around the filler neck of the gas tank. The suspect can be seen pulling into the parking lot possibly in a tan colored Toyota Corolla.
Criminal Trespass: 511 Beat: 07-20-2008 2114 hours, Lost Mountain Lane; Complaint called police and advised there were three juveniles in a residence he was house sitting. Ofc . Polizzi responded and met with the complainant. Cpl. Contreras and Ofc . Chatham responded to the area to check for the suspects. Entry was made into the residence through an unlocked rear door. The suspects left without taking anything from the residence. Cpl. Contreras and Ofc . Chatam located the three suspects in Foxwerthe Subdivision. The three suspects were subsequently arrested and charged with criminal trespass. The Officers are to be commended for a job well done.

The suspects are described as black males between 601 and 603 and were seen leaving in a black SUV possibly a Jeep Cherokee with a roof mounted luggage rack.

Meeks went to the suspect's residence and met with two juvenile suspects. The suspects admitted to breaking the rear window with a rock and showed Ofc . Meeks where they had hid the property. The two juveniles also implicated the third juvenile who also admitted to the burglary. The three suspects were subsequently charged with burglary. Ofc . Meeks did an excellent job of following up on the suspect information and is to be commended.

Gerjets was advised that a white male wearing black shorts and black shirt was seen walking in the area. Over the past two weeks a subject matching the description has been prowling in the area. Ofc . Gerjets was able to locate the juvenile suspect on the rear deck of a residence attempting to gain entry. After further investigation by Det. Sullivan and Ofc . Gerjets it was determined that the juvenile had attempted to gain entry into four houses in the Brookstone area over the past two weeks. The juvenile was subsequently arrested and charged with attempted burglary and loitering and prowling. Ofc . Gerjets and Det. Sullivan are to be commended for their efforts in this case.

Victim located is pants in a nearby locker minus the contents.

Yancy conducted a zone patrol of the subdivision at approximate 0020 hours and everything appeared normal. Ofc. Yancy went back through the subdivision at approximately 0134 hours and noticed that a garage door was partially open and lights were now on in a house under construction. Ofc . Yancy observed that person(s) unknown entered the residence and began to remove the copper air conditioning line.
513 Beat: 05-13-2008 1030 hours to 1100 hours, Old Dallas Road; Witness drove by his brother's house and observed a red Chevy S-10 pick up at the barn. The witness made contact with the two white males. The witness went to the house to let his brother know about the pick p and the pick up left.

Two witnesses were in the house and observed a white Chrysler four door diving by. The witnesses were able to catch up to the suspect vehicle and make contact with the occupants. One of the witnesses was hit with an egg thrown by a female in the back seat. The vehicle was described as a white Chrysler 300M.

Stolen Autos: 510 Beat: 05-05-2008 2400 hours to 05-15-2008 0800 hours, Mars Hill Road; Victim advises that a tenant had sold his two broken down trucks to a salvage yard without his permission.
05-15-2008 Burglaries: 511 Beat: 05-14-2008 0730 hours to 0830 hours, Stilesboro Road; Victim observed a white vehicle back up to her basement door. A black male exited the vehicle, entered the basement and removed a backpack blower. When the male was confronted he advised he was there for Justin, got back in the vehicle and drove off. The black male is described as 600/180 medium build 18-22 yoa , driving a white Chrysler Pacifica or Pontiac Vibe with a drive out tag.

05-14-2008 Thefts: 512 Beat: 05-13-2008 1510 hours to 1530 hours, 2500 Dallas Highway, (West Cobb Wine and Sprits); Three black females entered the store with two children. One of the females distracted the clerk. The other two females took several bottles of liquor off of the shelves and hid them in their skirts. The group then left the store only paying for a small bottle of liquor. The theft was noticed several minutes later when the clerk was straightening the shelves.

515 Beat: 05-01-2008 1700 hours to 05-09-2008 1000 hours, Living Springs Circle; Person(s) unknown removed a landscape trailer from a work site. There were also two Craftsman lawnmowers on the trailer.
05-12-2008 Burglary Arrest: 512 Beat: 05-10-2008 1815 hours, Stilesboro Road; Victim advised that a black male came to her door and knocked on the door. By the time the elderly female reached the front door she observed the male walking down her driveway carrying a gas can that had been removed from her carport. The victim contacted her son who lives near-by. The son followed the suspect who was subsequently stopped by Ofc . R.M . Green from Pct. 1. The suspect was brought back to the residence and identified by the victim and her son. The suspect was arrested and charged with burglary. Ofc . Green did an excellent job in this incident and is to be commended.
Burglaries: 510 Beat: 04-29-2008 1200 hours to 05-10-2008 1300 hours, Hiram Acworth Highway; Person(s) unknown entered the unlocked crawl space of the residence and removed two hundred feet of copper water line.
511 Beat: 05-08-2008 0800 hours to 05-09-2008 1200 hours, Due West Road; Person(s) unknown attempted to force entry into a barn. No entry was made. The suspect(s) did remove a John Deere log splitter and Yardman tiller.

Once inside the residence the suspect(s) ransacked several rooms and removed a Sony Stereo, Dell laptop, and numerous pieces of jewelry. A red vehicle was seen in the driveway of the residence during the time of the burglary.
Thefts: 512 Beat: 05-09-2008 2240 hours to 2345 hours, Ernest Barrett Parkway, (Waffle House); A white male came into the restaurant and ate a meal. The suspect then left without paying.
